Discord alerts of page content changes
In this quick tutorial, I’ll show you how simple it is to monitor a website for new software version releases and get instant page change notifications directly in Discord.
Just add the URL of the page you want to monitor for changes — copy and paste the link into the top box, and you’re ready to start receiving automatic Discord notifications whenever the page changes.

Now your overview list should look something like below .

Connecting Discord to changedetection.io
changedetection.io uses what's called "Apprise" syntax for notifications (called a Notification URL), basically it just means that for every possible service (Discord, Slack, email, ms-teams, microsoft power automation and 90+ more ) there is a discord://...
or slack://...
etc address that goes into the "Notification URLs list"
Don't worry, it's all super simple :)
To have a bot send notifications to your Discord server’s channel you need to paste in the following "Notification URL" in the notification settings
discord://webhook_id/webhook_token
To get a webhook_id
and a webhook_token
. Click the settings icon beside the chat and click Integrations
.

Then click View Webhooks
, then New Webhooks
you can change the name of the bot if you like and copy the Webhook URL
. It will usually be called by default "Spidey bot"

Then "Copy Webhook URL" (This is now the "Notification URL" in changedetection.io)
Simply paste that under the Notification settings of the watch (or global settings)

We suggest pressing the "Send test notification" button to make sure everything is set up correctly, that way you can see the notification in Discord as a test.
That’s it! You’ll now get push notifications on Discord whenever there are changes or updates of any web page you like :)
See below, here's our very own test channel on Discord!

Have fun!
